Fishing trips on the world famous White River are memorable. All of the fishing guides we reference have been fishing for an extended period of time. The guides are adaptable, knowledgable and have a down-to-earth laid back lifestyle. They are familiar with the river and know where all of the "honey holes" are. They strive to introduce the great sport of fly fishing to whomever is interested. From kids to adults and novice to advanced, all ages and abilities are welcome. If you would like to enjoy a day floating on the river with your pals or just get acquainted to the sport in general with some simple casting instruction, Copper John's has you covered. We do not currently offer boats to rent. There are several places close by that offer boat rentals.They are a first come first serve basis as well.

Challenge

Guides are not employees of Copper John's Resort. They are independent and have clients that call them directly and separate from us. They maintain their own schedules and bookings. Please pay them directly. Most of them prefer cash. Be sure to ask how they would prefer to be paid...not everyone has credit card access.

Gratuity is not included in their prices. What's a good tip you ask? Base that on your experience. Be specific with your expectations for the trip. If you are interested in catching your limit to cook or if you just want that trophy picture be sure to let them know. They are there to offer you a memorable experience.

They pay close attention to water generation schedules, as well as the weather radar. These specifics help them make an informed decision on the details for your fishing trip.
